Fugazza recreates traditional Italian baked sandwiches. Our light, tasty focaccia start with artisan sourdough bread, created using a combination of wholemeal, rye and unbleached flour. True to their origins, our sandwiches are baked, not pressed, creating a beautifully light, crisp crust.
Inside each fugazza are fillings of the finest ingredients, such as taleggio and stracchino cheeses, porcini mushrooms and traditionally prepared small goods.
Drawing upon the Italian philosophy of simplicity, quality and balance, each fugazza can be eaten alone or served in smaller portions alongside Tuscan and regionally-inspired soups, salads and frittatas.
We aim to share the best of Italy – from our Moretto hot chocolate, to the Abbondio range made by one of Italy’s oldest soft drink makers, and in a first for Melbourne, southern Italy’s refreshing Brasilena coffee with mineral water.
